OUR STORY
Who We Are
ABOUT US
The All Orphans Football Foundation is a non-governmental organisation seated in Ghana. Its primary objective is to bring hope, development and bright future to orphans, neglected and the less privileged in the community through sports and education.
BACKGROUND
Emmanuel Akpoto, president and founder of the foundation, has spent his entire life in Ghana practising and teaching sports for children in Labone-Accra. As a former soccer champion, sports has always been a crucial part of his life and during his stay in Ghana, he gained first-hand experiences of how sports can contribute to community-building and how powerful the presence of balls can be in an environment of extreme poverty. This experience inspired him to support children who are deprived of the basic facilities to practice sports. With the support of two other founding members, Alex Torgbe and Joshua A. Kwabena, he provides help through an organisation.
OUR GOALS
Delivering sports and education for disadvantaged children, providing support for orphanages to improve their sports facilities, thus making sports available for orphans and children in the communities, organizing sport events and competitions, supporting young sports talents, educating children to live a healthy lifestyle and encouraging them to perform conscious, coordinated movement processes, teaching sports history.
